- January 2010: VAIREX Accepts Largest Production Purchase Order in Company's History
VAIREX corporation of Boulder, Colorado announced today that it had accepted an order for 350 of the Comapny's fuel cell air management systems from a US-based Fuel Cell manufacturer. These units will be delivered in the First Quarter of 2010, with the intent for increasing numbers to follow in successive Quarters. VAIREX is operating under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy code, and the transaction and payment terms were approved by the Court.
VAIREX CEO Ski Milburn said, "This single order equals our 2008 unit sales, and exceeds our unit shipments in 2009, testifying to the fuel cell industry's successful commercialization and move to full-scale production. The fact that we were able to close this order while operating in bankruptcy is an endorsement of the quality of our products and our standing in the industry."
- January 2010: VAIREX Investor Advances Debtor in Possession Funding
VAIREX corporation of Boulder, Colorado announced today that ViCTORi LLC had exceeded the $100,000 offering minimum of its $1,250,000 Private Placement. The funds are to be used to provide a Debtor in Possession loan to VAIREX, and the first tranche can now be released. VAIREX is operating under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy code, and the transaction and terms were approved by the Court to allow VAIREX to operate during its reorganization.
VAIREX CEO Ski Milburn said, "This is an important step in supporting our operations under Chapter 11, and moving us towards emergence from bankruptcy protection. This first amount was raised from previous VAIREX angel investors, who are exhibiting great faith and courage after the events of the last six months. Their commitment is a real testament to their belief in our future potential."

VAIREX corporation recently completed its Stage 1 external audit with its ISO certifying agency. Based on the good work by the whole team and input from the Stage 1 auditor, Ms. Kathy Heidebrecht, Director of Business Operations and Quality Assurance believes we will complete the final Stage 2 audit and be certfied yet this quarter. ISO 9001:2008 is an important quality certfication for VAIREX as it will help show customers, suppliers, and all stakeholders that our processes and procedures meet recognized industry standards.
  
VAIREX corporation and Mr. Joel Oakman, Director of Manufacturing, are proud to present our new, high quality, manufacturing facility and blower line. 400 square meters with shipping and receiving, incoming inspection, inventory control, assembly, and test. Supporting both the VAIREX compressor and blower products, single shift planned capacity on the newly qualified blower line alone is estimated at 25,000 units per year.
